“Getting results for clients gives me great satisfaction.”

Meet Norman Taylor: Our Principal Attorney

Providing Successful Litigation Throughout California Since 1987

As a lawyer, I thought I could right wrongs and help those who needed assistance. I could help people get a measure of justice.

—Attorney Norman Taylor

His Inspiration for Becoming a Lawyer

Years ago, Norman Taylor sat in a courtroom and observed a trial in progress. Invigorated by the experience, he changed the course of his college education and enrolled in law school.

Today, attorney Norman F. Taylor has a long-standing reputation as both a top consumer law attorney and an advocate for consumers’ rights.

Work History & Education

In 1986, Norman both graduated law school and passed the bar exam. From there he opened a consumer law practice with an emphasis on warranty litigation.

It grew quickly, and by the early 1990s, he’d developed considerable expertise in the area of Lemon Law. He established a reputation as an expert both in the courts and auto industry.

Norman Taylor’s Philosophy

I believe honesty and integrity should be reflected in how one conducts their life. There really is nothing else. I take a lot of pride in what I do. Getting results for clients gives me great satisfaction and is what has kept me going since 1987.

Industry and Professional Recognitions

With numerous successful Lemon Law verdicts and settlements to his credit, Norman Taylor’s name began to appear in stories in auto industry trade magazines as early as 1991, acknowledging his effectiveness on behalf of consumers.

As his firm’s reputation continued to grow stronger, he received an invitation from the California Judicial Council in 2004 to assist in creating standardized jury instructions for California Lemon Law cases, which have been codified in the CACI jury instructions manual.

He Wrote the Book California Lemon Law to Empower Consumers

In addition to his sustained success representing consumers in Lemon Law cases, Norman Taylor has done a lot to empower and educate the public when it comes to the basics of Lemon Law:

  • In 1991, he co-authored the first book ever published about Lemon Law in California. It’s titled, Lemon Law: A Manual for Consumers
  • In 2005, he authored and published Lemon Law: The Standard Reference Guide, which is widely distributed and nationally recognized.

Both books, written professionally yet in plain language, have helped countless people understand their rights. In fact, at one time, there was an automotive giant that used the book as a guide to handling its California lemon law claims.
